  • thankfully rare
  • Tropical climates
  • A group is called a pit

(exploding snake)

  • Obligate carnivore, prefers rodents and birds
  • Dark green constrictor
  • Temperate forests
  • Can (somehow) cause a chemical reaction in its hide that causes what appears to be a small "explosion" to stun prey
  • Dammit Giga why did we make this how am I supposed to explain it
  • A group is called a pit

Vine Snake

  • Obligate carnivore, prefers birds
  • Brilliant green, camouflage with jungle leaves and vines
  • Lethally toxic but not aggressive
  • Tropical forests and jungles
  • A group is called a pit

  • Obligate carnivore, prefers rodents and other reptiles but will eat birds, other small mammals, and rarely insects
  • Dark in color, often black
  • Deserts
  • Bite can cause violent seizures that usually lead to death
  • A group is called a pit

Avian

Daihen

  • Bird with poisonous quills
  • Temperate forests

Euthoran Mint

  • Dark, rich green leaves with white or dark red berries depending on species
  • Grow in temperate to cold climates

  • Red berries are also toxic to most creatures, but can be eaten by dragons and most birds as well. Often used to flavor gifts of wine for Skykings.
  • Leaves can be chewed or steeped as tea for the flavor; usually harmless to humans, but can cause illness in high doses.
  • Leaves carry a distinct, strong flavor and scent resembling Terran mint. Despite toxicity, berries are very sweet.
