About the infobox
There were a couple of issues regarding the Races section in the infobox.
1. The issue you were experiencing, with the field not appearing, is because you tried to change the template. That doesn't work on infoboxes. Just fill in the fields, don't change them.
2. Most races aren't "selectable", per se. With the exception of humans and potentially your own races, you need to clear a race's presence on a different planet with the creator of the race, which is usually the creator of the planet the race is actually from.
3. The bottom half of the infobox, with the radius and such, follows a standardized format. That's on us for not explaining to you though.
