List of Unsolved Problems in Manaverse Metaphysics

In true wikipedia fashion, a list of notable problems in metaphysics that virtually no entity, world or civilization are capable of explaining at the present time in Standard Canon Time (give or take several generations into the future). The nature of these conjectures may stem from lack of out-of-character elaboration, or because I cannot decide which explanation to pick from various other hypotheses, or simply because they exist as open problems that I do not intend to give formal answers to. Regardless, these all double as personal notes in one way or another.

Mana

• Where did Mana originate from? Was it created or introduced alongside the Manaverse, or was it one of the very first existences that evolved out of the Fabric's primordial states? Is there a deity or deity-like entity responsible for Mana, or can its existence be attributed to the Originator?
• How does Mana's proposed pseudosentience correlate to its entity-particle duality? Is it an abstract organism that permeates the universe (as potents of Mana), or a primitive consciousness spread across every individual particle? Does it possess a detectable soul, or is its concept of soul far too removed to explain with Soul Theory?
• Where does depleted Mana, or Ley, go? Do Leylines gradually transition out of local reality, do they converge somewhere in a discrete dimensional location, or do they exit the bounds of the observable universe altogether?
• What is the nature of Ley? Is it truly associated with a "virtual" metaparticle, is it a purely energetic pseudo-aether, or is it merely a completely unique substate of Mana? Why does the process of deliberately transforming Mana into Ley with Magic require exponentially vast quantities of Mana?
• Is there a Mana Cycle on the scale of the Manaverse, or can this be attributed to the sum of all Mana Cycles that presently exist in the universe? Where is new Mana originating from, and what is the mechanism behind this process? Assuming a universal Mana Cycle, is Mana being cycled from outside the Manaverse, or is the Mana entity somehow producing new Mana from within? Is Ley fundamentally tied with any of these theories?
