The Elemental Spectrum is a system of categorizing the elemental resonances in the Elemental Field as a range or spectrum of clearly-defined identities.
Elemental Field
The Elemental Field is a pervasive field ingrained within the structure of reality which assigns a unique resonance—known as an Element—to several physical phenomena, thus intrinsically providing them metaphysical significance. The Elemental Field is not responsible for the materialization or creation of its associated concepts, and can be best understood as the property of certain physical quantities, such as heat and electricity, to create specific excitations in it, giving rise to the widely-known property known as Elements.
Excitations in the Elemental Field vary in intensity and phenomena occurring in the real world, even if purely physical in nature, may not necessarily produce merely one resonance at a time. For example, plasma is understood to be a simultaneous excitation of Fire and Lightning resonances.
