Ecology
Gigantic constructs of red and gold silk enchanted to fly around the desert areas. Appear harmless, but these "ribbon serpents" are said to be ancient guardians of an older civilization.
Plants attract pollinators through sound, rather than color and scent. Sound itself is of importance on this planet; most creatures respond to it better than stimuli to other senses. Some of the vined plants may wrap around and attach themselves to animals, in order to move from nutrient-poor soil. From there, it will use dirt, insects, or dead skin caught in the animal's fur, or even pierce the still-living animal for its blood, in order to gain nutrients.
Races
Sarkiri
Bipedal, digitigrade reptiles (porting Argonians from Skyrim) with hooked talons like raptors. Have brightly-colored feathers on skull and back; commonly tattoo their faces with vibrant warpaint. Have long horns made from bone, long, blunt snouts, and spikes on head and spine.
Sarkiri culturally prize stealth and silence, being the rogues and assassins of a generic adventuring party. Possible Dark Brotherhood port.
Smooth, slightly sibilant and/or raspy voices, the kind of voice you'd expect from a snake.
Splayed, digitigrade talons allow Sarkiri to stride on loose sand without sinking in. Using their tails as balance, they are able to briefly drop to all fours to run more quickly, but overall prefer a bipedal stance.
Obligate carnivores.
Tend to keep strong bonds with friends and family. It is rare to see one traveling alone; most commonly travel in pairs or family units. Tend to have a strong tribal culture.
Nomadic. Can run at good speeds across flat terrain or the desert, but usually ride large, lean quadrupedal reptiles like horses across rocky or mountainous areas.
Can be found on Ferona due to nomadic nature leading them to take interest in traveling to other planets.
Have tetrachromatic eyes and can see into the ultraviolet part of the color spectrum. The warpaint they use appears more vibrant to them than other creatures, as the Sarkiri can see a wider range of color, and this paint also reflects UV light. Sarkiri hunt at night, using their UV-reflective warpaint to signal to each other while remaining hidden to their prey. They act as predators to the Kovulzel.
Sarkiri are nocturnal, and their reflective warpaint also absorbs and retains the heat from UV rays. They spend most of the day sleeping or basking in the hot desert sunlight, storing heat to keep these reptiles warm when the temperature plummets at night.

Light-colored mammals with dark markings. Spotted pelts, have long, furred tails with rings. Retractable claws and large ears.
Ride the same quadrupedal reptilian mounts the Sarkiri do.
They have the vocal cord structure for higher-pitched, animal-like cries, which they use to call their mounts. They may also use this in hunting, to deceive prey or scare off a predator.
Omnivorous/mesocarnivorous, prefer fruit. Tend their own crops. Semi-arboreal, crepuscular and nocturnal. Have large eyes which reflect light.
Are very loyal individuals, creating very tight family bonds. While rare to see a Sarkiri alone, it is unheard of to see a Kovulzel alone; they will do all they can to stay with even a small group, and will often resort to suicide if that is not possible.

Trivia
- The Ceskian moon(s) reflects UV light, rather than absorbing it like the moons of other planets. The Sarkiri evolved accordingly.
