Officially proposing that we make it so that Rinul originally had rings before the planet's collapse. If we go with that, this is literally a perfect representation of Diala- the girl seems to be the planet, and we've established that Rinul is the Diala to Almathea's... well, Alma. She's even holding a thing that could easily be a Mana crystal, or representative of the Erevas' birth crystals, or whatever. She isn't a kemonomimi but that's forgivable since humans are a "blueprint" anyway.
