Valen Scarletburn (Formerly Valen Ellison Errin for the first 2 years of his life) is a well-known Syelsumoii gunman and once part of a former group named the Sadistica Seins. He is the son of Rebel Leader Arias Errin and the younger brother of Governor Emriesk Errin of Korriaka (In TGC timeline its Premier Emperor Emriesk Errin of Greniou). Vale assumes the role of Main Character in The Grenian Conspiracy, therefore replacing his father after his trilogy. In Cult of Ustream Canon he assumes the role of a regular member.

Personality
Cult of Ustream
In the very beginning of his introduction, Vale was seen as a violent and thrill-seeking man who was often intoxicated by the thrill of battle. Oikeus had a lot to do with shaping Vale's personality and molded the man into familiarizing, loving, and craving the blood and carnage one would have when murdering innocent people. Vale is a very emotionally restricted man who chooses to not express a certain amount of any feelings, showing his powerful sense of control. Though his emotional restrictions loosened up with the more friends and sense of autonomy he felt.
There is an analytical and philosophical side to the Scarlet Gunslinger. Expressing his views on the worlds and situations behind his "Perceptual Door"(which is a state of mind he created) were a common way of expressing such traits. Towards people he knows, hes quite respectful however. He never tries to lower someone bellow him, but even with that careful consideration he still treats mostly everyone indifferently.
Post Oikeus-Arc
There is a gradual shift Vale undergoes during and after his battle with Oikeus. All the values he had tucked away for the sake of killing emerge: Value of life, concern over the safety of others, and inner peace. Vale's aggression and corruption he nursed in his heart waste away along with Oikeus. This makes way for a more calmer, focused, and determined gunslinger. His emotional restrictions loosen up slightly, though he still remains stoic and controlled. [More to be added]
The Grenian Conspiracy
As the codename Five, he retains the strong and aggressive personal type throughout the entire canon. However, his anger and aggression are at dangerous levels to the point where he considers himself an "Angry,psychotic savage." [Not sure if I could add more if this entire canon is currently in my mind]
Combat
Fighting Style
Vale adopts a very heavy defensive set focused on endurance from attacks and keeping enemies at bay. Thanks to his abnormally high endurance and pain tolerance, he often uses his Metallic form to provide layers of armored protection for that job. During battle Vale is often the one to attack first with warning shots (mostly done by either a desert eagle or an UZI). Then he switches to defensive measures in order to observe the enemy's techniques, attacks, and power. Hes a very patient fighter and prefers to observe in order to formulate a strategy.
If one were to class him, he would fall under the "Tank" category with his endurance, defense, and heavy artillery that deal a massive amount of damage.
Powers
- Manipulation of Decay: With his binds to Oikeus came another ability that has since been assimilated into his being as a natural ability: Decay. He can influence the decay of various things and use it as a way to extract the very life force of a decayed being. As this is part of his body, he is able to imprint the effects of decay on his weaponry and use of mana.
- Photoimpery: Vale's manipulation of light is a suppressed power that is the result of genetic [and other things] ties to his father, Arias Errin. He uses the light around him and light mana to execute various skills and a massive "buff" to his armor. Solidifying light rays, intensifying light rays to pierce through bodies, and other techniques are held by him.
- Cryoimpery: A very underused backup power Vale has as the result of Oikeus's influence and binds to his soul. Although Vale is not very keen on using his power over ice, he has shown to be very apt at using it. One example is from the Azuma Island Sideplot where he froze a major part of the ocean for recreational fun.
Abilities
- Metalized Hide: The metallic hide, as its called, is an exclusive genetic trait expressed by the Errin clan of Angelics. Vale is able to manifest an incredibly strong metal "armor" that engulfs his body. Metalized hides are known to take different forms and purposes based on the wearer's personality, which manifests as a defensive asset to Vale. In the fight between Ziolang and Vale, its been shown to be strong enough to withstand the heat of suns and so far has not been pierced by anything but the Impossible Blade.
- Brute Strength: Vale has a talent of focusing power and expressing his capabilities with great bouts of strength.
Equipment
- Desert Eagle: A nice, strong piece of weaponry Vale creates almost every time he fights. This weapon has a powerful rep of having a fast trigger and strong recoil power.
- SRM Arms Model 1216: By far the most powerful and blunt force semi automatic shotgun Vale can create. The magazine which runs parallel to the barrel is made of four tubes, each with its own spring and follower. Each shell contains 200 projectiles that can provide a painful and wide spread range of attack for the user.

History
Born approximately 11 years after the failed rebellion of Causica, Vale is the youngest and second born male child of Arias Errin and Helena. Vale grew up without any knowledge of his father and barely any memories of his mother after she abandoned him. He always struggled with the inner beast named Oikeus that often demanded sacrifices and killings to keep them alive. Pitted against an otherwise deity-like force and his mother, he was forced under circumstances to live alone in the deep polar regions of the southern Syelsumoi hemisphere. At the age of 8 he was fully capable of surviving on his own and in the wild up to the point where he even began acting like an animal. However, at the age of 11 he was picked up by a group of polar fishermen and taken to a town near the heart of the Croi island to be assimilated into a government-run orphanage.
Within that orphanage his life changed. He unknowingly met what would be his future associates and partners, Three and Four (Klaus Nortigren and Emma Isokoski). During his time there he formed an unbreakable bond between four and himself and a very light-hearted friendship with three. Unfortunately at the age of 12 his friend three betrayed him, and out of rage the young boy destroyed the orphanage and went into hiding once again until the authorities caught up to him and imprisoned him for the next 5 ½ years.
Once he turned 17 he was finally bailed out by none other than the Empress of Syelsumoia, Magda Roseasillmillaan (Zero). Confused to as why he was, Magda integrated Vale into the Syelsumoian variant of the Sadistic Seven to serve as a private group dedicated into equalizing the Northern and Southern frontiers and killing off any political or wealthy figures who are a danger. After that, Vale would find himself within a life changing path that ultimately would send him to a different planet entirely: Euthora.
In TGC Canon, Vale is instead sent to Causica along with Gaga and Emma to spark the stories “The Grenian Conspiracy: Bloodline Purity"

Trivia
- Vale is a borderline alcoholic along with his Liquid Calcium drinking habits.
- In TGC canon he does not know he has family other than his mother whereas in CoU canon he is aware of his father's existence at least.
- The name "Valen" is a reference to the ancient character "Young Master Valen" of the Grenian epic "God's Avatar (Dierdurev Fiosko)."
