Daeridune is a planet within the Manaverse. It is ringed, orbits two suns, and is orbited by a single moon.
Daeridune is home to two canons, both chatplay-based: Algorithm of Fate and a currently-unnamed canon that takes place before Daeridune's apocalyptic event.
Geography
The southern hemisphere of Daeridune is the hub of the technological progress; having less landmass to work with, the inhabitants build high in the hopes of entirely avoiding the ever-expanding Sandsea.
Post-apocalyptic Daeridune is a barren, wastelandish world. In the setting of Algorithm of Fate, the major city is Antriquel, but there are several smaller cities scattered nearby. The area is most likely in the northern hemisphere, and relatively close to the Sandsea.
As a result of the apocalyptic event, the majority of the world is inhospitable due to leftover magical radiation, the harsh environment, and monsters that benefited from the catastrophe. These, among other factors, encourage humans to largely remain within the cities.

Daeova
Daeova can be considered Fascist by Terran standards, but deviates from this form of government by integrating religion more firmly into it. The country worships the God of Progress, Exelixus, and refers to their own system of government and religion as Exelism. This particular form of government and religion is Daeova-unique and unpopular in the eyes of less radical societies. The country focuses on progress while maintaining order, creating a stoic and oppressive civilization aside from the crime of those dissatisfied with the current state of affairs. Free thinking is stifled under the population's need to push their technology and science to new limits.
Daeova is ruled by one man, named Silas Jasper Payne. He keeps the company of what he refers to as Exelist Enforcers, which include Damien Thrage.
Daeova's currency is based around coins called Tael, which come in copper, silver, and gold variants. It is fifty Copper Tael to a Silver Tael and fifty Silver to a Gold. Daeovan economy is good to those able to work in military, construction, or scientific fields, and poor to the rest of society. This leads to anarchic crime in larger cities (which is quickly and methodically silenced by Payne's enforcers) and rampant poverty in the smaller, weaker cities (which Payne ignores and allows to be picked off for the sake of the rest of the country's progress).
Daeova's capital city is named Aeficeon and houses military advancements. Daeova also includes the city of Antriquel (the main setting of Algorithm of Fate), and Kevarus (a large city which houses the scientific and technological advancements). It is a part of the continent of Auvresh, which has the highest rate of technological and societal progress of the three main continents of Daeridune.
Military in Daeova includes the Exelist Enforcers, as well as generic army forces. The Exilest Enforcers are used to shut down opposition in the form of dissenters and disruptive individuals, such as Dazenth Raziel's hobby of being a mercenary hitman. Daeovan military forces are given special energy-based weaponry- Dazenth's gunblade and Damien's railgun being among them.
Technology in Daeova naturally centers around the ideals of "harder, better, faster, stronger". The height of their technology at Standard Canon Time includes genetic experimentations- creating specialized creatures from scratch, such as Stormcatcher- and interplanetary travel. It was, in fact, a Daeovan ship that caught the Mana signal of a Vindrite girl known as "Cyclone" and, unable to read it, went to investigate. It was a Daeovan ship that eventually caught a similar signal from Vindrgard and was then "stolen" by the man Nathair Kigyo.
Pragara
Chemists and Pressure engineers. They have extremely good medicine and command complex and powerful water-pressure machines.
They live on the coast and build cities of labyrinthine pipework. Buildings are all wrapped up in complex piping or cables like webbing around the cities. This makes their cities hard to navigate, which leads civilizations to get frustrated with visitors.
They are generally communist. Government strongly insists everyone keep working, which often leads to rushed or forced projects, and is the general contributing factor to the mess that is the faction’s infrastructure. Aside from this, they strongly value life, and many funds are contributed to health and the environment.

Mendia
A nation of monks who live in the mountains. Their spelltypes tend to be focused around improving their bodies and physical ability.
Their buildings are all completely flat. They only live in the peaks of mountains, but their buildings are made on boarding extending off the sides. Magic allows them to keep everything completely level and balanced. The look of their buildings is inspired by traditional, Terran Japanese buildings, and most rooms are connected by outdoor walkways.
They believe in the purity of the human form. They do not accept tampering with or modification to the human form. They react violently to non-humans, but are calm and wish to exercise diplomacy when confronted by "equals."

- Where the Eyes movement is centered at.
- Perhaps more of a "group of interest" than a ruling body.
- The Eyes holds quite a bit of authority, and is considered a "holy woman" or a "prophet", who is believed to reincarnate throughout the ages. This authority extends beyond just [blue] to begin with, as she is considered a holy woman in some capacity largely throughout Daeridune.
- Considered to be akin to a neutral ground or sacred location depending on who you ask.

Landmarks
Around the equator of the planet wraps the Sandsea, a vast expanse of sand that moves in currents and behaves as an ocean would. It appears to be a mass of rippling dunes and thus earned the planet its name. The exact origins of the Daeridite Sandsea are unknown, but the leading theory is that it was formed by tectonic movement of the plates converging towards one another, pushing sand up to the surface. It is progressively becoming wider; at the time of Algorithm of Fate, this landmark has become gigantic and dangerous, an area that none dare cross.
Ecology
Prior to the apocalyptic event, monster presence on Daeridune is minimal.
Ambush predator that tunnels through stone and burrows in sand, using its feelers to sense prey.
Culture
Theology
Deities of Progress and Idealism, which the population took to mean technology vs magic.
Post-apocalyptic Daeridune does not have a recognized pantheon. While the planet did originally have deities, they appeared to vanish after the apocalyptic event.
Technology
While not as magitech-heavy as other planets such as Crysia, Vindrgard, and Phantasia, pre-apocalyptic Daeridune has a notably high technological level. In fact, magitech is nearly nonexistent, as technological and magiological progress advanced separate from each other.
Politics
Magic vs Technology
There are two predominant factions, one focusing on magic and the other technology.
Government
Post-apocalyptic Daeridune is run by a strict government, which places a ban on magic under the pretense that magic is what caused the world to become barren. The government also uses a combination of propaganda and scare tactics to prevent people from leaving the city and thus discovering remnants of abandoned population hubs. The leader of the government is an individual known simply as the Overseer.
There may or may not be a government-condoned slave trade during the timeframe of Algorithm of Fate.
